ጠ/ሚር ዐቢይ አሕመድና ልኡካቸው በሰባተኛው የቶክዮ አለምአቀፍ የልማት ትብብር ጉባኤ (ቲካድ 7) ወቅት ከጃፓኑ ጠ/ሚር ሺንዞ አቤ ጋር የሁለትዮሽ ውይይት አካሄዱ:: በውይቱም ጠ/ሚር ዐቢይ አሕመድ በኢትዮጵያ ስለሚካሄደው ፖለቲካዊና ኢኮኖሚያዊ ማሻሻያ ለጠ/ሚር ሺንዞ አቤ አብራርተዋል:: ሀገር በቀል የኢኮኖሚ ማሻሻያዎችን በመተግበር ኢትዮጵያን በአፍሪካ ከአምስት በኢኮኖሚ እድገት ቀዳሚ ለማድረግእየተሰራ መሆኑን የገለፁት ጠ/ሚሩ የጃፓን መንግሥት ይህንኑ እውን ለማድረግና የጃፖን የንግዱ ማኅበረሰብም በግብርና: ቱሪዝም: አይሲቲና በማእድን ማውጣት ሥራ እንዲሰማሩ ጥሪ አቅርበዋል:: በመጨረሻም ጠ/ሚር ዐቢይ አሕመድ ጠ/ሚር ሺንዞ አቤ በጃፓን የተለያዩ መስኮች የሰለጠኑ ኢትዮጵያውያንን በሥራ እንዲያሳትፉ ጠይቀዋል::
ጠ/ሚር ሺንዞ አቤ በበኩላቸው የጠ/ሚር ዐቢይን የሀገር ውስጥ የለውጥ አጀንዳ እንደሚደግፉ ገልፀዋል:: እንዲሁም ኢትዮጵያ በኤርትራ የምታደርገውን የሰላም ድጋፍ: በደቡብ ሱዳን ያለውን የሰላም ውይይትና በሱዳን ስምምነት የጠ/ሚር ዐቢይ አሕመድን ሚና አንስተዋል:: ለጠ/ሚር ዐቢይ አሕመድና ለኢትዮጵያ በተለይም ለጅማ ጭዳ መንገድ ግንባታ ጃፓን የምታደርገውን እርዳታ እንደምትቀጥል ጠ/ሚር ሺንዞ አቤ ተናግረዋል::
PM Abiy Ahmed and his delegation met with Japan’s PM, Shinzo Abe in a bilateral during #TICAD7. PM Abiy briefed PM Abe on Ethiopia’s ongoing political and economic reforms. He shared the vision of making #Ethiopiaone of the top 5 leading economies in Africa through the homegrown economic reforms currently in the pipeline, and called upon the Government of Japan’s support for this initiative as well as for Japanese business investments in agriculture, tourism, ICT and mining. Lastly, PM Abiy requested PM Abe to facilitate work opportunities for skilled youth in various sectors in Japan.
PM Shinzo Abe expressed his support for PM Abiy and the domestic reforms being undertaken by the government. He also acknowledged the role of #Ethiopia in promoting peace with Eritrea; in South Sudan talks and PM Abiy’s role the Sudan agreements. He affirmed continued support for PM Abiy and Ethiopia and shared particular assistance for the construction of the Jimmy-Chida road.
